Apostille Services
As a notary public, I provide Apostille and Authentication services for all 50 states and for documents of a Federal level.
What is an Apostille? In simple words, Apostille is a method of certifying a document for use in another country. For countries that are signatories to the 1961 Hague Convention, it is sufficient to legalize the documents with the corresponding Apostille. For the rest of the world, instead of an Apostille, the document would need to get Certificate of Authenticity (COA) attached to it. No embassy or consular authentication needed.
Example: a Florida birth certificate with Apostille is a legal document in Brazil. Without Apostille, the birth certificate has no legal power and will not be accepted there.
IMPORTANT:
Apostille/COA can be issued only for original documents, no photo copies/faxed copies/scan printouts accepted.
Apostille/COA can be issued for the documents bearing seals and signatures of officials, incl. notaries – for example, birth certificates, court orders, notarized wills, affidavits, etc.
Apostille/COAs for documents in foreign languages require certified translation to English in many states and on Federal level.
Apostille/COAs must be processed in the state of issuance.
For example, a Wyoming birth certificate cannot receive an Apostille from Florida, it must be received from Wyoming. A federally issued document (i.e. a report from a consular abroad) must go through a federal-level process.
I have been successfully working with Apostille/COA services for documents issued in all 50 states and documents of a Federal level for many years.
We offer three levels of urgency, including 1 business day + FedEx Overnight mailing. All Apostille/COA services include Priority Mail Shipping (2nd business day delivery), unless you opt-in for 1 day urgency. You will be able to choose desired speed during booking. Note: Federal level documents do not allow expediting at this time, and it takes about 10-12 weeks to receive an Apostille from Federal government.
When ordering this service, you have a choice of bringing the documents to my home office in Maitland, mailing them to the address specified in the second email after booking, or I can schedule a pick-up of the documents in the service zones.
If you have any questions, unsure of your steps, please reach out to us via text/WhatsApp/call at 689-243-9606 or via email – we’d be happy to help. For a preliminary review of the documents, please, send us an email with scans of the documents.
